Another Day on the treadmill

I really enjoy my 40 minutes on the treadmill in the nice, cool, apt gym just watching “Bringing Home Baby”. Much easier to exercise on the treadmill if you are watching something interesting. It amazes me at how my tastes have changed. At one point in my life I could hardly watch the Baby Story on TLC because it was unnerving. That was before I got married. I used to love watching the Wedding Story. Now I can’t get enough of the baby shows and the wedding stories are like “yeah, whatever.”

Anyhow, back to the baby. My new favorite game is “guess which body part is poking mommy”! I feel lots of big movements and I like to try to figure out what part of the baby is pressing against my insides. This is a really hard game. It is hard to figure out one hard spot from another. Sometimes all the movements seem to be on my right side. Other days both sides get a workout. I really wish I could just have a camera to look inside to see what it is that babies do. I am sure there isn’t a whole lot of room in there to do much. But I do know that baby is pressing on a nerve that leads to my hands because they are numb and tingling at times. Can’t wait to have my sensation back!

I love being pregnant. I love to rub my belly. I rub it all the time. Even to the point where people will ask “are you ok? Something wrong?” and I just say “I am fine. I just love to touch my baby”.

By the way, we are now in THE month that our baby is due…and hopefully the month our baby will actually be born. We have it planned out. Conrad was born in April. I was born in May. Our baby is next in line for June. (well, once we put the last bit of stuff in to storage and I pick out a pediatrician. Then baby can come on out!)

Note of thanks to my husband!
Thanks for the surprise Rob Thomas CD!
