Hopefully you will get a kick out of this one. Today I received an email from my friend Karyn regarding her day with her 3 boys. They are absolutely adorable. (Though I am sure she didn’t think so at the time). Now mind you, she is leaving tomorrow to go to New York for a cousin’s wedding. Steve will be home with the boys for a little “dad time.”

Note: Justin and Cameron are twins turning 4 yrs old this December. Cason is 10 months old.

Anyhow, at her expense, I chuckled. If it can bring amusement to someone else, then it is well worth the post (plus she gave me permission!) What a day! Must have been a full moon or something!

Karyn writes…

“Today has been a terrible day so far, otherwise I would have called and told you this. After pulling in the library parking lot, Justin knocked one of the new paint cans we just picked up, out of the van. The top busted open, and paint poured out all over the parking lot. Totally emabarassing!! All of the other moms were driving in and watching me trying to scoop up as much paint as possible, and put it back in the bucket. ugh!!! I was covered in paint, so we just went home - No storytime or library for us today. After getting home, Cameron decides he isn’t going to pull his pants down all the way while using the restroom, so he peed all over himself. Nice. Then, Justin decides he needs more water on his towel to help me wash down the walls. He puts his entire towel in the sink, soaks it, and proceeds to spill water all over the new floors and himself. Oh…and you think….at least Cason didn’t do anything. Well…..I had the large mirror on the floor, so I could paint the fireplace wall. Cason decides he’s going to use it to pull up and stand. The mirror comes flying forward and Cason falls back on the hard floors right on his head! He’s asleep now, thank goodness! I’ve made the other two go in the backyard until swim lessons. Hopefully, neither of them will fall over the fence again like Justin did a couple of weeks ago.

This is why my hair is so gray! What time does my flight leave tomorrow???”
