Before I forget
I was thinking it would be good to make a few notes (for whomever may pass by this site) of things going through my head under the category, “I probably should write these down somewhere.”
So for the first thing, I wanted to mention some “signs”. Meaning, when my 10 1/2 month old starts to get fussy and clingy and doesn’t want to be put down and it happens in the morning time, then it is a “sign” he is ready for a nap.

It doesn’t take much to distract me. Especially from work. Well, housework, mainly.
I was just in this mood to go through things and toss…toss…toss. So I picked up a few books on dating/single life and figured, “I don’t need ‘em. Let’s toss ‘em!” And then I got to thinking, “but they are pretty current, and in good shape. Maybe I could donate them to a library.” So, now that is on my to do list. Call the library and the Goodwill to see if they take books. (I figure I am saving some landfill somewhere).
So then I did toss some stuff. But then got distracted once again by a CD with photos on it. Photos from 2 summers ago when Conrad and I went with my cousins Elaine and Jonathan to Disney World! Those were some good times! More on that later…but first, some pictures. Continue reading »

Jan 28, 2008
Dear Diary. OH MY GOODNESS! I just got back from the MB20 concert!
Words can not express the joy…the elation…the excitement..the …wow!
Ok so I really really really love listening to Matchbox 20. In fact, the week before the concert I ran through songs and lyrics…well, that was my original intent. I ended up doing a crash course refresher the day before.
Yes, my super awesome husband gave me tickets for Christmas to see Matchbox 20. I had my outfit all planned out. I put my make up on. Did my hair.
Sat through Mute Math and Alanis Morisette (heh) and then…THEN!! Yep, after quite a bit of time, the band finally came out. Blamed some technological issues with lighting but WHO CARED!!! They were FINALLY OUT! Had I been about 10 -15 years younger I would have totally charged that stage and googled over Rob! But I am a happily married woman and I no longer do that (heh). Seriously though. Rob is not my type. Like I know him or something!
The great thing is that this is forever in my memory book. The sad thing is that some of those pages in the book are starting to fade!
Needless to say it was such a great Christmas Present and I would love to see them again! I have a live version of “Push” for my ring tone now! woohoo!

I love (the most obvious) my husband and my son.
I love when it is 5:30 because that means my husband comes home. Often meeting Kayle and I at the park!
I love watching my 10 1/2 month old sleep. I put my finger in his hand and just stare at him or pray for him and just smile, smile smile!
I love the fact that daylight savings has returned…in the form of LONGER DAYLIGHT (actually didn’t mind losing the hour this time. Worked out great for us!)
I love being able to blog like this. Feels like life got a bit crowded for awhile.
I love meeting my neighbors. New. Not new.
I love meeing with my brother Paul on a weekly basis (well semi weekly now and soon he will be off for Alaska).
I love hiking! My husand and son took me out to Red Top Mountain for Mother’s day!
I love not being sick anymore! Well, not having morning sickness that is. I have this cough…ugh! hack hack hack
I love being able to clean my apartment. (rare occasion…is this a 2 “s” word? Too lazy to look that up…)
I love being surprised! (ex: my surprise 35th birthday party!)
I love being able to stop this blog right here.

if you come to a surprise costume party and totally dress the redneck part!
Actually, I am still so amazed at what a wonderful husband and super family and friends that I have that would come out to my surprise party and totally get in to the role of the “Redneck Reunion.” Conrad and my friend Rachel planned the event. Rachel actually writes Murder Mystery parties (if you want her info…I would be happy to share it because you should totally get in touch with her to plan your next event. It will be “to die for!” Anyhow, everyone did great at keeping the secret. Even those who couldn’t come!
I am in a “can’t sleep” mode so I thought I would blog about it. I mean, yes, turning 35 is a big event and what a fun way to celebrate this big year. I don’t feel 35. I don’t act 35. I don’t look 35 (help, TLC’s 10 years younger!!) and I certainly really never thought I would be 35!
The whole event theme was about a Redneck Reunion between feuding family members. The character roles were as hilarious as my family/friends that portrayed them! Great job everyone!
Well, I am feeling tired now. Maybe I will go to sleep. Or maybe I will ponder about what I want to do when I “grow up”. or maybe I will just meditate on the philosophy of life. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
