You Can Do It
I recently became a Mary Kay consultant. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhh. There was a lot of wrestling with this, along with prayer, research and interviewing past and present consultants. But this blog is not about that …it is about “You Can Do It” which is the quote below the picture of Mary Kay that is in my director’s office.
Which coincides with Joyce Meyer’s book “Power Thoughts” which I am listening to through her audiobook I borrowed from the Library (which is a whole other topic in itself).
“It is impossible to change our lives unless we change our thoughts.” Alongside her statements in “Battlefield of the Mind,” she reminds us that “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” Prov 23:7
We must renew our thoughts daily. We must surrender them to Christ. If you think positively, you will be a positive person. If you think negatively, you will be a negative person.
It starts in the Mind. “Think about what you are thinking,” Joyce says.
Rom 12:2 says “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
So think about it. What kind of thoughts occupy your mind? You have control over what goes and STAYS in there. You have the power to CLEAN out negative thought patterns.
You CAN do it!
