The first big step of 2010

January 26th, 2010

(note: I just found this in my drafts. heh. “Today” is like three weeks ago, at this point)

Yes. Today bought Kayle a big boy bed. Well, a Toddler bed. I think he is doing better than I am. Conrad really talked it up today. We all went to the store to buy it. Once assembled, he almost didn’t want to leave it. Went to McDonald’s to celebrate. Stayed up a bit later than usual to let him be really tired before he went to bed. He did great. I laid down by the bed. More for me, than for him. Sniff sniff. A new milestone. I think I need to just double check on him. again.

First, the wedding was on Friday due to a “Roll Tide” football game on Saturday (only those football fans would understand. zzzzzzzz.. ooops. sorry, talking about American Football puts me to sleep.) Ok, so there I was with my 19 month old nephew and my 4 month old. It wasn’t bad, actually. Only difficult when they both needed to nap at the same time or needed some lovin’ at the same time. Luckily Kayle was really good and Vann is easy to put down for a nap. Kayle is not that easy to put down for a nap, but that only really became an issue Saturday. Continue reading »
