And so it begins!

Happy New Year, dear self!

Well so far it is looking rather promising. I have flossed every day this year. 🙂 Actually, I have been flossing for 33 consecutive days.

Anyhow, I am hopeful for 2016 because I know God is for me. He is before me. He has my back. And sides. I’m hemmed in.  “You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me.”  Psalm 139: 5

Remember the expression “live each day like it was your last”? Well, what if we lived each day like it was our FIRST? Well, not the first day of life when we cried and slept and ate and … well you know. I’m talking about that first day when you realized that God had a plan for your life. The day you took back control of the enemy and said “I am living for God!” Remember the energy? The excitement! The adrenaline?!!

YES!! That’s what I’m talking about!

Living each day with the hope that you can do all things in Christ who strengthens you (Phil 4:13). A hope that God meets all our needs in Christ (Phil 4:19). THAT kind of living.

That is the feeling that I have now. Armed with a fresh Bible Study (armed- literally – check our Priscilla Shirer’s Armor of God study).

It’s really invigorating 🙂 I’ve spent the morning cleaning out the junk piles in our home office/exercise/music room. Feels good to de-clutter. 🙂
